Block-7 Copper and Gold Project
Al Tamman Trading Establishment LLC has Block 7 Copper and gold concession in Wilayat Suwaiq, Oman. The area of the block is 587 Sq. km. Exploration on the block is being done in collaboration with Alara resources of Australia. Exploration on Daris East and Daris 3A5 prospects of the Block 7 has been completed and economic reserve has been defined. Feasibility study, mining plan, EIA and EMP are being prepared to do mining on these prospects. Development of the open cast mine will be started by the first quarter of 2013. The exploration on the rest portion of the block is continued to find out the more economic reserve.
Ferrochrome Plant
Al Tamman, in collaboration with Indsil Group of India has set up a 75000 ton/ annum capacity ferrochrome plant in Sohar Free Zone, Oman. This will be the first ever ferrochrome plant of Oman. Ferrochrome Plant will add value to the chomite resources of Oman. Erection and commissioning of the plant have been completed. The production is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2013.
Al Ram Chromite Project
Al Tamman started chrome ore production form Al Ram project in 2007. Now Al Tamman has successfully emerged as one of the largest chrome ore exporter of Oman. Chrome ore that was hitherto shipped in its raw form, now will be used in ferrochrome plant. Al Ram site is located 140 Km from Muscat on Bidbid-Sur road. The open cast selective mining method is being adopted to produce the chrome ore. The estimated reserve is 1 million ton with average grade of 38% Cr2O3 content. Average silica content and Cr:Fe ration are 5% and 2.3:1 respectively. 17000 ton of chrome ore is being produced on monthly basis.
Wadi Rajmi Chromite Project
Al Tamman is a strategic partner in Wadi Rajmi Chromite Project. Wadi Rajmi Chromite project is managed by Al Tamman. Wadi Rajmi chromite site is located 320 Km from Muscat on Muscat-Shinas Highway. The open cast selective mining method is also being adopted here. The average monthly production of chrome ore is 8000 ton. The estimated reserve is 1000,000 ton with average grade of 30% Cr2O3 content. The average silica content is 8% and Cr:Fe ration 2:1.
Al Qabil Manganese Project
Al Tamman is the only manganese ore producer of Oman. The manganese site is located 220 Km from Muscat on Bidbid-Sur road. The open cast selective mining method is also being adopted here. The average monthly production of chrome ore is 5000 ton. The estimated reserve is 500,000 ton with average grade of 25% Mn content. The average silica content is 48% and Fe less than 1%. The ore is ideal to produce Silico-manganese.

OVERSEAS PROJECT
Osogovo Lead-Zinc Project, Macedonia
  Al Tamman has acquired Osogovo Lead and Zinc concession in Macedonia. The concession lies 200 Km east to capital Skopje near SASA mine that is the biggest lead and zinc mine of Europe. The preliminary studies show encouraging results. The Exploration planning is being done. The exploration will be commenced in first quarter 2013.
Sokol, Marble Project, Macedonia
Al Tamman has also acquired Sokol Marble concession in Macedonia. The concession lies 150 km south to Skopje. The area of the concession is 1.9 Sq. Km. The colour and the texture of marble is white crystalline and whitish grey crystalline. The exploration will be started in December 2012.
Port Sudan Copper-Gold Project, Sudan
  Al Tamman acquired Port Sudan Copper-Gold Concession in Sudan. The concession lies 150 km southwest to Port Sudan on Khartoum-Port Sudan Highway. The area of the concession is 5 Sq. Km. The surface geochemical survey indicates that Cu content varies from 2-4%. As per earlier studies, estimated resource is 2 million ton.
Reko Diq Copper Project, Pakistan
  Al Tamman has processed the application to acquire the Reko Diq Copper and Gold Prospect. The concession lies near the Reko Diq Town of Baluchistan, Pakistan. The concession lies on the Tethyan Belt i.e. famous for the Copper and gold prospects. The total area of the concession is 425 Sq. Km. The nearby concession has been explored by Tethyan Copper Company and they estimated 2.2 billion ton reserve with 0.53% copper and 0.3 g/t gold.
